How the Procedure Is Performed

Preparation

For at least one month before treatment, active tanning and excessive sun exposure should be avoided.

During the consultation, the cosmetologist at Al's Hair Clinic evaluates the patient's skin phototype, the nature and depth of pigmentation or vascular lesions, and selects the appropriate treatment parameters.

During the Procedure

A contact gel is applied to the skin.

The applicator is moved across the treatment area, delivering pulses of intense light. Patients typically experience brief flashes of light accompanied by a mild warming sensation.

An integrated cooling system enhances comfort throughout the procedure.

Treatment duration: approximately 20–40 minutes, depending on the size of the treated area.

After the Procedure

Mild redness and warmth usually resolve within a few hours.

Pigmented lesions may temporarily darken after treatment. This is a normal response, and over the following 7–14 days the pigmentation gradually exfoliates and fades.

Most patients return to their normal daily activities almost immediately after the session.

Results and Expected Timeline

Immediately After Treatment

  • Mild redness may occur;
  • Pigmented lesions may temporarily appear darker.

  • Significant improvement in skin clarity;

For most pigmentary and vascular concerns, 1–3 treatment sessions are typically sufficient, with 4–6 weeks between sessions. However, the exact number of procedures depends on the patient's individual characteristics and treatment goals.

Maintenance treatment: every 6–12 months.
